Random Life Rant

I know this may come as a shock to you, but wedding planning is hard and frustrating! I'm one of those control-freaks in the sense that I love creating things, so why not save money to do this and that myself....well, it's much harder than it all looks, and there is a reason that each specific traditional wedding item has a person/company who specializes in only that.

Finding reception halls? Not so easy.
Finding a videographer? Even harder.
Have my iPod as my DJ? Who was I trying to kid?
Buying flowers in bulk to make my own bouquets? SO not going to happen.

The only thing I'm having success in, doing myself, are our invitations and save the date cards. This is only possible because of my profession and crafty side, and it is a help to the budget, I suppose, but I'm sure I'll make up for that by finding a more expensive caterer.

I need a wedding fairy...
